1. General information:
Dry ice — is solid carbon dioxide (CO₂) with a temperature of -78.5°C. It evaporates, bypassing the liquid phase, and turns into a gas. Improper handling may cause injuries or dangerous situations.
2. Safety rules when using:
Protective equipment: Always use gloves or tongs. If you add it to cocktails, you should use a straw, and for children, a lid for the glass.
Ventilation: Use dry ice only in well-ventilated areas to avoid CO₂ accumulation when using 10 kg or more.
Do not swallow or touch with hands or skin: Direct contact can cause cold burns.
Keep away from children and animals: Dry ice is not a toy.

3. Dry ice storage:
Store in a special thermal container in the coldest possible place.
Never store dry ice in airtight containers — this may cause an explosion due to increased pressure.
Do not store dry ice in refrigerators or freezers - this may damage the equipment.
4. Disposal of dry ice:
Allow dry ice to evaporate completely in a well-ventilated area.
Do not dispose of dry ice down drains, sinks, or garbage cans.
